Policyholders located within 3 miles of the coast with wind coverage are now required to secure Flood Insurance through either the NFIP or a private carrier.

What’s changed? We no longer require insureds to carry Contents Coverage or a specific Flood coverage amount; we’ll defer to you, the Agent, to guide your clients on those coverage decisions. To see the Underwriting Guidelines, please click here.

Got a new purchase coming up? You can waive the PTI Home Inspection by uploading and tagging a Pre-Purchase Home Inspection in Slate. Policyholders are also being offered this option through Home Inspection Services and can email their Pre-Purchase Inspection to: wmi@pti.insure

And if your insured’s closing date has been pushed out several weeks, no worries! Just call Agency Underwriting at 561-609-1001 to request a reissue with the new policy effective date.
