We are excited to share that three major enhancements to Slate, our policy management system, are live as of today, Monday, August 25. These updates were built with your feedback in mind and are designed to make managing policies easier, clearer, and more efficient.
1. Participants Are Now “Contacts” – Complete Page Redesign
This was your #1 request, and we’re happy to deliver it. Insureds, Additional Insureds, Mortgagees, and Other contacts are now separated clearly, giving you a cleaner and more intuitive view. You’ll also have the ability to edit or change lenders with ease.
2. Policy Contact Information Popup – Final Confirmation
After entering payment details and clicking “Submit,” you’ll now see a Policy Contact Information pop-up. This final confirmation ensures the Primary Insured’s information (such as date of birth, phone number, and email) is accurate and complete. Having valid contact information is essential for providing the best service.
3. Policy Checklist for Enhanced Visibility
A Policy Checklist will now appear immediately after binding a policy, giving you a clear understanding of what needs to be completed and submitted for Underwriting. You can also access the Checklist tab under a new business policy to view requirements and their status. As documents are uploaded, statuses will automatically update until they are approved.
