The one-year statutory Legislative Premium Tax Discount & Legislative Fire Marshal Discount implemented by House Bill 7073 expires on September 30, 2025.

Please remember this for any policy renewals, submissions, or quotes. The premium discounts will be removed if the effective date is October 1st or later.

Underwriting can update the effective date on an existing quote or submission, saving you time from having to requote and generating a UR later.

The most efficient way to handle an effective date change is to submit an Activity through Slate or call Underwriting at 561-609-1001
