How to Add & View Files

Looking for policy forms like the Checklist of Coverage? We’ve got you covered.

Here’s how to find them:

  • Locate your policy
  • Head to the Files tab
  • Switch from “Attachments” to “Sent’”
From there, you can view or download all system-generated documents within the policy term.

Pro Tip: Toggle the “Policy Communications” box to ON to see documents grouped by individual communication, making it even easier to find exactly what you need.

Attaching Files to the correct policy

Our Underwriting team has noticed an increase in documents being uploaded to the wrong policies in Slate. A quick double-check before uploading helps ensure accuracy and prevents delays.

Uploaded something to the wrong policy? No worries, you can delete an attachment within 4 hours by following these steps:

  • Click the 3 green dots at the top right of the Attachments grid.
  • Select the item (check the box).
  • Click the 🗑️ icon to delete.
