With our revised calculation of Coverage A, based on 360Value, many policyholders have seen an increase to their replacement cost value, thereby increasing their premium. We have noticed a trend among some agents who are lowering their clients Coverage A to reduce the renewal premium. We strongly encourage you to NOT lower your client’s replacement cost value, as this may result in underinsuring their home when they need coverage most.

Please consider alternate ways of reducing premiums, such as reviewing the policy for any missing applicable discounts, increasing deductibles or rewriting coverage to a Basic Choice policy, if applicable.

In case you missed it, we proudly announced the completion of our reinsurance. Despite the challenging market conditions, our strong financials and proactive business model were crucial in securing a robust reinsurance program.

This program will further enhance People’s Trust Insurance’s ability to remain a solid force in the market, providing reliable coverage and service to policyholders.

Kudos to our very own Ashlee Segal on her promotion to Director of Agency Support!

Ashlee has been with People’s Trust Insurance for 6.5 years and has served in various roles, including Customer Service Representative and Customer Service Advocate. She joined the Agency Support team in 2018 and has since been an invaluable asset. With her well-deserved promotion to Director of Agency Support, Ashlee will continue to work closely with our partner agents, overseeing UW & claims escalations, agency maintenance needs, acquisitions, and more.
