HOME INSPECTIONS UPDATE
You asked — and we listened. Thanks to your input, we’re simplifying the inspection process.
If a policyholder can supply a New Pre-Purchase Home Inspection that meets our UW criteria, they may be eligible for an insurance inspection waiver. With your help, we’ll keep making our binding process as easy as possible. Keep those great suggestions coming!
As a reminder, PTI requires a home inspection for all homes older than five years within 21 days of the policy inception. It’s critical that we get the correct policyholder contact information so a Home Inspection Services representative can reach them to schedule the inspection.
If the rep can’t contact the insured, it may result in cancellation. You’re welcome to assist the insured in scheduling the home inspection by calling Home Inspection Services directly at 800-808-6550.
