And thank you for a wonderful 2025. Thanks to your input, we’ve been able to improve how we partner with you—of course with the goal of always striving to make things easier to do business with us!

 

It has been a year of significant progress and expansion for the People’s Trust Insurance Agency Sales Team. We strengthened production by building deeper relationships with our Agency Partners and enhanced our operational efficiency through improved organization and record management.

 

The year started with a new incentive program and an unprecedented, tireless push by our Agency Support Team to improve agency partnerships. After spending the first quarter setting meetings and calls with every agency partner, we continued hosting weekly virtual training sessions and Lunch & Learn events all over the state throughout the year.

 

Within our new policy management system, Slate, several enhancements have been made based on feedback from our Agency Partners. Between the total revamp of our “Contacts” feature and the creation of our “Policy Checklist” feature, it has never been easier and more intuitive to quote, bind, and service PTI business in Slate. We encourage your continued feedback!

 

To further support new business and retention efforts, a new key piece of our team was created: Agency Sales Support. This dedicated group has a simple mission: to collaborate with agents to ensure all required documents are received during the underwriting new business review period. The response to this experiment has been monumental–the agents we have worked with have been consistently cooperative and appreciative of our efforts. It’s truly a pleasure to work with individuals who share a common commitment to keeping policies on the books and maximizing retention. We look forward to continuing and expanding this same effort into next year.

 

In 2025, as we continued our organic growth of our book, our team was well-traveled, popping up all over the state for trade shows, agency kickoffs, and PTI-hosted Lunch & Learn events. Each opportunity to meet with our agency partners face-to-face and handing out sweet treats was a true highlight of our year. In 2026, we hope to see even more of you in person.

 

 

PTI Flood

 

This year, PTI Flood completed a major transformation from an MGA model, in which PTI bound and serviced all business on behalf of agencies, to a streamlined bridge-to-bind model. This new model empowers agents with their own credentials to bridge from the rater directly to carrier platforms, allowing them to bind, service, and renew policies independently. For those of you who do business outside the state of Florida, this shift supported the launch of PTI Flood’s nationwide expansion, moving beyond a Florida-only footprint to offering writing capabilities in all 50 states.

 

Strategic carrier partnerships have further strengthened PTI Flood’s national presence and value proposition. All new carrier partners integrate fully via API and support sub-producer account structures under the PTI MGA LLC master account. As of this letter, we have 9 private flood options available for our agents, with capacity in all 50 states.

 

These enhancements lay the groundwork for the rollout of new carriers, partnerships, and products in 2026, as PTI Flood continues to innovate its technology and processes to give agency partners a competitive advantage and deliver a more efficient, customer-focused experience, and maximize Customer stickiness for Agencies.

 

 

Looking Ahead

 

Our new and improved agency partner website will launch in January, helping you to find the resources you need as efficiently as possible.

 

Our team has been working hard implementing even more product offerings in our My Account Portal, with the goal of rolling out Jewelry, Life, and Pet insurance in January. With our new and ready-to-use browser plugin, PTIntelliQuote, agents can quote multiple lines at once – from any website with an address on it.

 

Later in Q1, we will implement new homeowners insurance rates, making PTI even more competitive in even more areas of Florida.

2025 was a year defined by growth, collaboration, and new opportunities, made all the better by the good fortune of a hurricane-free season.

 

With private ownership, our efforts to support our agency channel can and will remain focused and nimble, allowing us to respond quickly to the needs of this evolving market. George Schaeffer is deeply committed to the state of Florida and to doing what it takes to deliver an excellent product for homeowners, along with gold-standard service for our agents.
