Some scary good news: Underwriting is no longer requiring a pre-bind inspection in the remaining zip codes which were within the path of Hurricane Idalia!

If you receive a UR at the time of binding a new policy, please chat here or call Underwriting at 561-609-1001 for further assistance. As a reminder, for new purchases, if a pre-purchase home inspection is supplied, the home inspection requirement may be waived.

We have some tricks to treat you with!

Notes in PTS Click the Activity Tab to see all policy notes activity in PTS. This may save you a call or chat with Underwriting and avoid wasting time on hold! The policy notes will be automatically sorted from newest to oldest.

If there was a recent underwriting review, endorsement processed, or inspection scheduled, the Activity tab in PTS is the best first stop for that information.

Another Way to Communicate with Underwriting Save time and email Underwriting if you are requesting to cancel a policy, need a policy reviewed for reinstatement, endorsement to be processed, or are sending in proof of repairs. Don’t spend time waiting on hold, send us an email! Email the following inboxes with your request which will be handled within 24-48 hours.

• To request a reinstatement review, please email uwreinstatements@pti.insure.
  **A request received before 4:00 pm will be handled on the same business day.
• To request review of a new business submission (prior to coverage being bound), please email uwsubmissions@pti.insure.
  **A request received before 4:00 pm will be handled on the same business day.
• To request review of general underwriting inquiries (ex. request to review proof of repairs, request to make coverage changes, request to update a mortgagee clause), please email pticagents@pti.insure.

Don’t ghost 👻 your policyholders: When selecting paperless delivery, please remember to put in a valid email address! Failure to input a policyholder’s email address for paperless delivery will result in the policyholder never receiving any of their policy documents, which could potentially turn into an E&O issue for your agency.
